Zhouluo Grand Canyon Scenic Area

Zhouluo Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in the western part of the Lianyun Mountain Range at an altitude of 1,359.7 meters. It is a national AAA-level tourism scenic area and an ecological tourism demonstration area of Hunan province. Zhouluo serves as the source of the Laodao River.

Within Zhouluo's enchanting valley, 1,926 wild osmanthus trees stretch 1 kilometer from the creek bank to hillsides, forming the largest wild osmanthus group in Asia.

The scenic area is rich in water resources, hosting 65 waterfalls and cascades, with several of them developed for tourism, including Tianxian Waterfall, Mandarin Duck Waterfall, Peacock Waterfall, Double Dragon Waterfall, and Beidouan Waterfall. The Zhouluo waterfall clusters constitute the largest natural waterfall group in Central South China.

The canyon offers numerous popular attractions, such as the Mirror of the Sky, the Glass Forest Rainbow Slide, and the High-Altitude Bamboo Sea Glass Rafting. Activities include natural rock climbing, creek tracing, camping, and boating on lake, making it an ideal getaway for city dwellers to spend quiet weekends with family and friends.
